Jayson Bustamante is a 2026 MIF/3B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Frisco, TX who attends Frisco. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and some present strength to frame, additional room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.62 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, approaches the ball well and presents glove early, plays low through it and consistent glove work at the ball, clean funnel into a lower slot on throws across the diamond, arm strength and carry will continue to develop but shows accuracy on to first base while working through the ball. Left-handed hitter, get wide in base moving into contact, quickness to hands and carries barrel lower through the zone. Looseness in swing and through the point of contact, best when working to the middle of the field while showing a handle for barrel, keeps hands inside the ball.
