Jordan Alvarez is a 2026 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, MIF with a lean 5-10 145 lb. frame with room to add from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Edison HS. Started off the event clocking a 7.56 60-yard dash. A primary infielder that pitches as well. During his BP round, he found plenty of barrels employing a pull approach. Fairly direct path to contact with a higher finish. On defense, Alvarez worked through the baseball with confidence making all there required plays and throws across the diamond. Showed solid feet/glove techniques and was able to range to balls laterally. On the mound he features a 3-pitch mix (FB, CB, SL) out of a 3/4 arm slot. A strike thrower with the ability to land his secondaries. Challenged hitters early in counts with the fastball and was able to produce ground balls. Worked three solid innings, allowing three hits, no walks and striking out four.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
