Chase Mitchell is a 2025 2B/RHP/C with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Wake Forest, NC who attends Heritage. Lean projectable athlete with the frame to add significant strength in the near future. Primary position IF, moving well on his feet and working proper angles on his plays. Hands showed smooth, accurate actions coming through the ball. Throws up to 65 mph across the diamond were on point. Secondary RHP, working from the 1B side of the rubber with small side step to solid posture at balance. Stationary hands below the waist leading to short arm path before loading the hand well at the top. High arm angle getting him to consistent release point and building FB in the 62-66 mph range with a lot of strikes. Very young on the mound. RHH using a spread stance with a no stride approach and significant bat tilt before accelerating to the ball. Path did get steep at times but when on plane showed good feel for the barrel with middle of the field impact. Tremendous student with a lot ahead of him on the field.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
