Jake James is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends Milton. Smaller, young build with room to continue adding strength. 7.75 runner in the sixty. Right-handed hitter, even squared base with high hands and a high back elbow, toe tap trigger, deep hand load, long stride out, works to get the barrel inside the baseball and impact to the opposite field. Loses the lower half in the swing. Primary outfielder, showed good bounce to the actions, energetic player, charges in hard and fields it with one hand on the side, stays tall throughout fielding, loose arm with a low release. Solid arm for the age, recorded throws up to 73 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, rocks into the delivery, longer arm action to a low three-quarters slot. Fastball plays true with straight life, up to 75 mph. Bigger shaped curveball in the mid-60s was mixed. Falls off the mound to the glove side a bit. Also worked out in the infield, fundamental round with step by step actions, ranges well to both sides and has clean hands, showed ability to change slots on the charge, solid throws from the hole, recorded throws up to 73 mph.
