Primary shortstop, young actions in the dirt, gets the glove out front fielding, deliberate tempo to actions, accurate throws across the diamond with arm strength that'll continue to develop. Short arm action on throws from the outfield, glove plays well at the ball, occasionally gets uphill at release. Also pitched, worked exclusively out of the stretch, hands stay close to body throughout, belt high leg lift and works into a three-quarters release point; short stride coming down the mound to plant foot. Fastball topped out at 63 mph, fastball mostly true in life, pitched to contact and filled the strike zone, flashed a curveball up to 54 mph with some bigger shape. Switch-hitter, begins with an open stance and a lower hand set from the left side of the plate, utilizes a toe tapp trigger, contact oriented approach with some lift through the zone, rotational swing. Left lift trigger from the right side as well, stays direct to the ball with hands, short stroke through the zone; line drive contact coming off of the barrel.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
