2023 Northeast Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Luke Cordiano is a 2024 2B/RHP/SS with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Middletown, NJ who attends Middletown South. Cordiano works from a medium lean build with athleticism present in the frame. As a primary 2B, he showcased lateral range with the ability to make plays up the middle and effectively change slots on the run. He flashed a full arm action across the diamond, ultimately topping out at 79 mph. On the bump, Cordiano started from the 1B side of the rubber with a quick tempo and mechanics overall to keep hitters uncomfortable in the box. He released from a 3/4 slot and ran his FB up to 76 mph with a SL flashing horizontal tilt also present in the arsenal. Offensively, the righty started from a slightly open stance with a wrapped hand set and toe-tap trigger producing contact to all parts of the field. He attempted to create lift in the bat path with developing power potential that should become more prominent in the future. Ran a 4.94 forty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
