2021 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
James Latshaw is a 2025 OF/RHP, MIF, UT with a 6-2 155 lb. frame from Fillmore, CA who attends Oaks Christian. Long frame with slender, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.40 seconds. Hits from narrow and upright stance, loads knee to knee, smooth swing with developing bat speed, barrel gets on plane well, will continue to develop with strength gains. Worked out in the infield, showed soft hands with clean actions out front, developing twitch, clocked up to 71 mph on throws. Also pitched, worked from stretch, drops and drives, fastball worked 75-79 mph with straight action, showed curveball with developing feel. Very good student.
