Merrick Lee is a 2027 OF/C, UT with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Menlo Park, CA who attends Menlo-Atherton. Features a medium frame with a lean build and present athleticism. Ran a 7.13 60-yd dash. In the OF, his athleticism showed. Exhibited quick feet that charged in aggressive and hard creating good momentum into throws. Used a shorter arm action that showed present armspeed to release where he got off accurate throws to the bag. At the plate, he’s a switch hitter where he mirrors his swing. He sits in a wider base with a smaller leg lick trigger. Shifts his weight well into footsrike and swings it with intent on a flatter path through the zone flashing some hand/barrel quickness. Stays balanced throughout. More of a pullside approach throughout his round showing quality strength at impact. Named to Top Prospects List.
