Jesus Portillo is a 2023 RHP/ with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Sunshine State Elite Academy. Primary right-handed pitcher with a medium build, high waist, and some present lower-half strength. Employs a rock into a waist level leg lift. Incorporates his lower-half well into his delivery and releases from a high slot. Showed excellent arm speed. Fastball worked up to 87 mph with good arm side run and life. Slider showed bite as very good secondary offering. Also flashed a firm changeup. Held the velocity from the stretch while working hastily. Heater worked very effectively to the arm side with sink and bore in on the hands. Possesses a really solid pitch repertoire that misses bats. Named to the Florida Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
