Tyke Daniels is a 2026 C/RHP, OF with a 5-5 115 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Mountain Ridge. Features a smaller build with room to add. Ran a 7.47 60-yard dash. Showed quality actions working out behind the plate and in the outfield. Charged the ball hard during outfield drills. Caught it cleanly while maintaining momentum through the catch point. Was accurate with a majority of throws. Threw 76 mph. Strong arm played from behind the plate. Threw 72 mph and posted a 2.15 second pop time. Showed the ability to gain ground out of crouch. Displayed a consistent transfer working into accurate throwdowns. More arm strength should come as the frame continues to fill out. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a square stance with a narrow base setup. Uses a toe tap timing mechanism to transfer weight onto the back side. Flashed solid bat speed through the zone on a linear path. Approach stays through the middle of the feld. Displayed the ability to drive the ball in the air on occasion. Some strength present helps generate flashes of power to the pullside. Threw as a righthanded pitcher. Showcased quality athleticism down the mound. Utilizes a high leg kick into slight drop and drive mechanics. Has the ability to get into the lower half. Crossfire landing creates deception within the delivery. Throws from a 3/4 slot using a short, quick arm action. The fastball sat 68-72 mph with armside run. Creates good life with the offering in the bottom of the zone, leading to frequent ground balls. Paired the fastball with a curveball at 59-62 mph with 12-6 action. Has fairly good feel for the offering with the ability to spin it well. Flashed the ability to create quality bite. Quality arm for the age with time to develop further. Good student.
