Adam Vaughn is a 2022 3B/RHP/IF with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Cedar Park, TX who attends Cedar Park. Medium to large physical build with room to still strengthen as he continues to develop. Primary infielder, really leans over to field, shows some good softness on his backhand side. Stays in front of the ball well and throws show good carry across the diamond. On the mound, has a short arm action from a three-quarters to high three-quarters slot. Some slight cutting actions on his 83-86 mph fastball. Works with a high front side after separation, smooth drop and drive actions. Mixes in a true 11-to-5 shaped curveball with good depth, flashes plus late vertical bite. At the plate, uses an upright and even stance with good raw pop. Short quick hands that work direct to the baseball, slightly lifted barrel plane through the zone with a middle of the field approach.
