Matt Misiti is a 2023 RHP/IF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Winter Park, FL who attends Lake Howell. Medium build with a bigger frame. Ran a 7.02 60-yard dash. A primary right-handed pitcher with a high-tempo delivery. Has a leg lift up to the belt with a quick and compact arm stroke through his delivery. He had a good feel for spin overall and pounded the zone during his outing. His fastball was 85-88 mph, holding strong in the mid-80s. He lived around the knees with the fastball and missed bats. His slider was around 79 mph with a short and tight break to it. His changeup was in the mid-70s. Overall he was able to mix the three pitches well, sequencing for success to miss barrels. Really likable stuff on the mound with projectable actions. A right-handed hitter who gets the hands in and turns it over to produce line drives to both halves of the field. Had some strength behind it, producing an 86 mph exit velocity. Keeps a balanced base on his setup, gets on time with a stride, he stays on plane with the barrel throughout the swing, and worked to all fields during his round of BP. Worked out as an infielder, funneling in the middle of the body, gathering and making the throw across at 89 mph. Had a shorter arm action overall. Good student. Florida Gulf Coast commit.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
