Thomas "Tj" Coyne is a 2023 C/3B/IF with a 5-8 143 lb. frame from North Bellmore, NY who attends Wellington C Mepham. Compact frame with plenty of room to fill. Primary catcher, worked out behind the dish with a squared setup, works through the ball with deliberate movements, gains ground into throws and will improve results with overall strength gains. Right-handed hitter, sets up narrow and upright with low hands and a high back elbow, swings easy and finds the barrel well, works on a slightly uphill swing plane and generates contact that will see improved carry as he matures.
