David Valoy Jr is a 2020 C/3B/MIF with a 5-11 203 lb. frame from Arlington, TX who attends Mansfield Summit. The primary catcher has a strong frame with obvious strength throughout. He ran a 7.14 in the sixty. He is consistent with his actions behind the dish and repeats his footwork and exchange with ease. Very accurate throws and popped a 1.90. In the outfield he was smooth with his footwork coming through the ball. On the infield he showed confidence in his glove, squaring balls up, and made accurate throws. The right handed hitter coils to start with a deep hand load. He has very good barrel speed with strong hands, and some power potential.
