Tripp Riley is a 2028 RHP/3B with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Klein Collins. Medium, athletic frame with narrow shoulders and a lean build, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.36 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, quick and abbreviated delivery on the mound, slight coiled leg lift into balance point, medium length to stride down the mound; works to a higher three-quarters release point with present quickness and repeats operation well. Fastball topped out at 79 mph, maintained for most of outing and filled up the strike zone, more velocity on its way. Maintained release and arm speedo n changeup well, creates tumbling life and able to miss bats with low-70s pitch, will throw it to right-handers as well. Curveball tightened throughout, able to land for strikes up to 67 mph, kept hitters off balance. Compact arm action with smoothness to actions in the infield, rhythm to footwork with athleticism on the approach, shows strength on throws across. Right-handed hitter, begins with a straight and tall stance in the box, balance in swing with fluidity to the barrel path. Contact oriented approach, simple swing and worked to the middle of the field with line drive carry. Tight hand load at start, repeats swing and remains under control throughout.
