Anthony Silvas is a 2021 RHP/1B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Moreno Valley, CA who attends Moreno Valley. Big and strong build. Side step delivery with a high leg lift over the rubber, has some backside collapse and drop and drive actions to the plate, long and loose arm action in back, good arm speed. Fastball topped out at 92 mph, gets a bit cross body at release for some angle, strike thrower with his fastball and fills up the zone. Wraps his curveball in back and has the potential to tip the pitch, has good feel for spinning and landing the pitch, 11/5 shape with some lateness and power. Two solid present pitches with a strong frame and some projection left. Good student, verbal commitment to Cal Baptist.
