Grady Saunders is a 2026 RHP/SS with a 6-0 140 lb. frame from Springfield, OR who attends Thurston. Recorded a 7.88 60-yard dash. Priary right-handed pitcher with a tall, slender, and projectable build. Begins delivery with a leg lift to core level and lands on line. Employs a short arm action with standout arm speed. Fastball features sink, up to 83 mph, and plays down in the zone. Quality athleticism on the mound and showed excellent feel for a slider with sharp, late two-plane break. The pitch was very consistent and showed comfort throwing in any count. Worked efficiently and generated lots of weak contact. Secondary middle infielder and showed good intent to actions. Displayed clean footwork and presents the glove early. Released from a lower slot with good arm strength across the diamond, up to 84 mph. Right-handed hitter and starts with a wide base and slightly open feet. Uses a toe tap trigger to get swing started and engages the lower-half well. Bat stays on a level path through the zone and lined balls to the pull side with consistency. Proved to be able to go to the opposite field gap with authority in game. Verbal commitment to Oregon State.
