Franco Garcia is a 2021 SS/2B, MIF with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Doral, FL who attends Monsignor Edward Pace. Medium build with plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop. Primary infielder, shows good fluidity to and through the baseball, soft hands with a feel for the position. Funnels the ball well and transfers quickly, throws across the diamond possess good carry. Shows an ability to throw on the move. At the plate uses an upright and wide stance with a hanging leg kick trigger. Generates a slight hand coil into his load, good pop when barreled. Smooth overall stroke with an ability to really drive the ball once his build fills out. Middle of the field approach, great student in the classroom as well.
