Chase Butler is a 2010 SS/3B/P with a 6'0'', 190 lb. frame from Rome, GA who attends Darlington HS. Strong athletic build, broad shoulders. Showed good body control in the field, strength to throw from tough throwing position, good footwork, quick to get rid of the ball. Good balanced approach at the plate, very strong, keeps hands inside then explodes with good extension out front, strong finish, hard line drive contact. Pitched from a high 3/4 arm slot, balanced delivery, occasional sink on FB, 11 to 5 CB was sharp and should develop into a solid pitch for him. Good student, verbal Georgia Tech
