Gabriel Rodriguez is a 2024 RHP/1B/OF with a 5-8 200 lb. frame from Arecibo, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Thick and strong build, especially in the lower half. Has a simple turn and throw delivery that he repeats well, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball worked mostly in the upper 70's and topped out at 82 mph early, gets good arm side life on his fastball and lived in the strike zone. Throws a big breaking 12/6 curveball for strikes, also flashed a solid change up. Strike thrower who fields his position well and competes hard on the mound. Good student.
