Cooper Brown is a 2021 LHP/OF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Livingston, TX who attends Livingston. The primary outfielder has a shorter athletic body with lots of room to add bulk. He showed clean actions in the outfield with good routes, rounded the ball well, and online throws to the bases. His transfer is pretty quick and the throws had carry. The left-handed hitter has a solid base with some twitch throughout his body. His stroke was compact and he made consistent contact. Good bat to ball skills and worked line drives to the middle. Top of the order type bat. On the mound, he throws from a high ¾ slot that he starts with a small side step before lifting his knee slightly above his belt. He tends to work up in the zone and to his arm side with some riding life on his fastball. He doesn’t have an issue getting it to his glove side, particularly on right-handed hitters. His curveball features good downward shape and is a good pitch when he throws it with conviction. He maintains a good tempo and possesses a good mound presence.
