Ed Small is a 2025 OF with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Anderson. Big and strong young build. Outstanding runner, 6.43 in the sixty, showed his speed very well both on the bases and in the outfield. Moves aggressively to the ball defensively, can run down balls over his head with pure speed, has confidence in his glove, has an over the top arm action with some young arm strength. Right handed hitter, has a short and simple move into contact, strong and heavy hands that generate lots of bat speed and jump, pretty tight and short swing path, gap to gap line drive contact with some carry, still developing consistency with his swing but there is a high ceiling here.
