Brandon (Gage) Kimble is a 2023 C/3B/OF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Baytown, TX who attends Sterling. Young athletic build with some present strength for his age. 7.37 runner, shows good athleticism behind the plate with quick feet, moves well side to side, has nice arm strength for a 2023, tends to pop straight up when throwing instead of exploding to the target but has the athleticism to do this in the future, did make accurate throws with carry. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base and drives his hips well into contact, will get out front in his balance at times, middle of the field approach, line drive swing plane, showed the ability to drive the ball the other way. Nice young catcher with some tools and skills who should keep improving. Very good student.
