Jake Eddington is a 2020 RHP with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Doniphan, MO who attends Doniphan. Long and lean athletic build with long limbs and plenty of room to get stronger. Piece by piece delivery, deep arm in back, tends to fall off to the first base side on landing and lose his direction to the plate, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 91 mph and worked consistently in the upper 80's, mostly straight, more velocity in there with physical maturity. Has good feel for his slider and uses it with confidence, good sweeping 10/4 depth and some bite to it. Developing change up that showed some sink. Projectable right hander who will improve with time and some delivery adjustments. Good student, verbal commitment to Alabama.
