Matt Ostroman is a 2020 LHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Toms River, NJ who attends Toms River North HS. Lean lanky build ripe with additional physical projection. Primary lefthanded pitcher with lots of moving parts to the delivery. Repeats it well and offers a tough look to opposing hitters. High leg lift and lands slightly closed off with slight crossfire. Filled up the strike zone with all three of his pitches. Fastball topped at 73 mph with good arm side run. Curveball had good spin and late 1/7 break and shape. Curveball was tunneled with the fastball nicely and created some bad swings. Maintained arm speed well on the changeup with some fade and has very good overall pitchability. Good student.
