Ryan Gallagher is a 2021 C/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Granite Bay, CA who attends Granite Bay HS. Recorded an 8.26 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with a lean build and room for additional strength. Primary catcher with quick hands and release. Shows accuracy and moves well with some ground gained toward the bag. Secondary infielder with deliberate actions and a higher arm slot. Corner infield actions and movements with arm strength recorded up to 77 mph across the infield. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a side step into a high leg lift delivery. Stays tall on the backside and works to the plate well. Curveball had 12/6 shape with decent spin and some late depth. Loose arm circle and released from a high three-quarters arm slot. Fastball produced some downhill plane with occasional run to the arm side. Flashed a changeup with some sink and slight fade. Lots of strikes and the ball jumps out of the hand pretty well. Lefthanded hitter with an upright, even stance. Rotational lower half with a high hand set and a high back elbow. Inside hand path with a slightly lofted barrel plane. Middle of the field to opposite field approach. Fluidity to the path with feel for the barrel and will develop nicely with additional strength. Good student.
