Kolten Wong is a 2008 C/2B with a 5'9", 175 lb frame from Hilo, HI who attends Kamehameha School. He has a very athletic build with good strength. Kolten is a very talented player who is a stud at the plate. He has a lightning quick bat with plus power and a sweet left handed swing. He is very short to the ball and long through the zone with a very attacking swing. Wong also showed his speed by running a 6.84 60 and a 4.41 from home to first base. Behind the plate, he stays low and has a quick arm action with good arm strength. He popped a 1.87 and threw 75 as well while not cheating a bit and his throws were right online. Wong is a good looking young player who projects more as an infielder or outfielder because of his speed and arm strength.
