Tyler Smith is a 2020 RHP/ with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Littleton, CO who attends Rock Canyon. Large slender frame with broad shoulders and long limbs. Room to fill out moving forward. Primary righthanded pitcher working exclusively from the stretch. Smooth leg raise with balance at the gather. Clean arm circle in teh back and into a high three-quarter release. Fastball generated downhill plane with occasional run to the arm side. Works to the plate with drop and drive lower half actions. Looks to get on top of hitters early by attacking the strike zone early in counts. Flashed a changeup with late cutting life through the zone. Will double and triple up on the curveball offering with a 10-to-5 shape and tight spin occasionally shortening up on the break. Mixes pitches well and works backwards at times keeping hitters guessing.
