Kellen Smith is a 2026 3B/RHP/SS with a 6-3 160 lb. frame from Four Oaks, NC who attends South Johnston. Long and lean build with lots of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a big shoulder turn to start his swing, long rotational swing, flashed some strength to the pull side, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength. 7.60 runner in the sixty. Has good footwork at third base on defense, clean to his backhand and soft hands in general, long and loose arm action creates nice carry across, solid defensive tools to build on. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
