2021 Fall Midwest Workout Showcase
Max Nemickas is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends George Washington. He has a tall frame with a slender build and room to add strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.10 seconds. Primary outfielder that attacks the ball and fields it off his front foot nicely. He shows clean actions and a strong arm. He made consistently accurate throws that generated plenty of carry through the base. Secondary right-handed pitcher that works from the first base side of the rubber and utilizes a knee to chest leg kick that creates torque. He does a nice job of staying on balance throughout and works in line with the plate well. He has a long arm action and fries from a 3/4 slot. His fastball has sinking action to it when he throws it down in the zone. His curveball has 11-5 shape with short break and his slider has light horizontal movement with good spin. His changeup showed good fade when working arm side with it. Right-handed hitter that starts in an even base with high hands and a high back elbow. He uses a toe tap trigger for timing and load purposes. He swings hard and made consistent hard contact back up the middle. He has a line drive approach and does a nice job of staying on balance through the swing. Named to the Fall Midwest Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
