Clayton Holt is a 2020 RHP/3B/SS with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Montgomery, TX who attends Home School. Large frame with a long build and room to add strength throughout. Ran an 8.09 second 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher with side step delivery into a leg lift to the belt. Lands in line down the mound with a short stride out. Long arm circle in the back and into a three-quarter arm slot. Fills the zone up early and often with the fastball topping out at 80 MPH. Will occasionally land the curveball for strikes also with an 11-to-5 shape and solid depth. Worked out defensively as a secondary infielder. Reaches out to field out in front. Moves well up the middle. Long exchanges into throws topping out at 82 MPH. Also worked out from the outfield. Short and deliberate strides to the ball. Clean exchanges fielding from the side. Accurate throws at 83 MPH. Also worked out from first base. Moves around the baseball. Moves well around the bag and has clean footwork coming off. Righthanded hitter with an open stance and leg lift trigger, Creates hard pull side contact off the barrel. Large linear shifts in. Good student as well.
