Carter Monke is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 6-2 150 lb. frame from Mount Olive, IL who attends Mt Olive. Long and lean build, very young look. Very long and loose arm action with a huge arm swing in back, very extended 3/4's arm slot, everything is smooth and fast, arm length causes some timing issues to his release point. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, mostly straight with occasional running action, lots of velocity potential with additional strength. Flashed a tight slider when letting his arm speed work for him and not overthrowing the pitch. Lots of potential with patience and additional strength. Good student.
