Jay Murdock is a 2022 3B/1B with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Dawson, GA who attends Terrell Academy. Flashed a medium to large frame with an already filled out build. Strong lower half. Ran a 7.66 second lower half. Primary Thirdbaseman waiting back on the baseball before working through it. Young, raw mechanics with a conservative type transfer making that it is clean. Accurate to bases with throws. Lefthanded hitter starting with an open stance and low hands set. Bat speed showing to be a plus. Looks to pull the baseball at all times while creating lift. Got a hold of one and went yard to the pull side in batting practice. Looks to do damage at all times. Outstanding Student.
