CJ Sampson is a 2026 RHP/3B/SS with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Tomball, TX who attends Tomball. Recorded a 7.04 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with a medium, athletic build. Begins delivery with a leg lift to waist level, landing on line at foot strike. Operation is athletic, uses a short arm action, releasing from a high-3/4 slot. Fastball topped at 84, featuring good life and came out very clean. Sunk the heater and located it well to arm side. Curveball showed healthy shape and plenty sharpness, proving to be an out-pitch. Secondary infielder and employed an aggressive first step. Showed good glove placement and presents it well. Displayed good arm strength and the ability to throws accurately on the run. Left-handed hitter and starts from a wide base with slightly open feet. Impacted the ball hard and showed present power to pull side. Ball came off the bat well with easy strength. Loft to path and swing is conducive for power. Worked the whole field and had a consistent round. Named to the 2022 14u Perfect Game Select Festival.
