Antonio Jimenez is a 2023 SS/MIF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Miami Lakes, FL who attends Archbishop McCarthy HS. Recorded a 6.63 second 60-yard dash time. Long and loose frame with a high waist, present twitch, and room to add strength. Primary shortstop with excellent range to both sides and stays low to the ground. Super smooth actions with excellent body control. PG National record 100 mph across the diamond, true plus-plus weapon. Should stick at short but could be a plus gloved third baseman too. Switch hitter with good extension and an uphill path from the left side. Shorter from the right side but shows good bat speed from both sides. Clean launch and can generate present home run power. Great student. Verbal commitment to Miami.
