Jacob Riegel is a 2023 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Clearwater, FL who attends Palm Harbor University School. Recorded a 6.94 second 60-yard dash time. Athletic frame with a high waist and lots of room to add strength. Primary shortstop with a short arm action and a lower arm slot. Deliberate actions with accuracy across and throws recorded up to 84 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a long arm swing and a high leg lift. Low three-quarters arm slot with a side step into a leg lift at the belt. Sweeping slider that is tunneled out of the same slot. Solid two pitch mix. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open stance, wide base, and relaxed start. Longer stroke with an inside hand path to contact. Shows strength off the barrel when extended. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to South Florida.
