Josh Mollerus is a 2018 RHP/OF/1B with a 6-2 198 lb. frame from Campbell, CA who attends Bellarmine College Prep. Big and strong build, pretty mature physically. Short and compact arm action, can get more involvement from his strong lower half, 3/4's arm slot, repeats mechanics very well. Fastball topped out at 87 mph with good sink and run. Nice change up with arm speed and good late life. Flashed slider bite when maintaining his arm speed, will tend to slow arm on slider and baby it a bit. Filled up the zone with all pitches and was very effective. Potential two-way player at the next level. Right handed hitter with a short and strong swing, squares the ball up consistently and shows his power, hits with intent and executes it well. Excellent student. No Division One commitment but has the tools and certainly the academics to attract lots of college attention.
