Henry Allen is a 2024 3B/1B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Auburn, AL who attends Auburn. Strong athletic build, pretty mature physically. 6.96 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, has some first step quickness and stays balanced well, throws have solid on line carry with plus accuracy, very good fundamental defender who makes the routine play. Also worked out in the outfield. Right handed hitter, has a loose and connected swing with bat speed and extension through contact, explodes hard on the ball at the point of contact, hard line drive contact from gap to gap, didn't show big lift but did show big exit velocities, professional hitter vibe, going to keep growing as a hitter. Good student, verbal commitment to Mississippi State.
