Luke Irwin is a 2020 MIF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Canton, GA who attends Creekview HS. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build; body projects well moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.44 seconds. Sets up to hit from upright, open-based stance with high back elbow. Approach is committed to the middle of the field, shows line drive swing plane with loose hands. Made consistent contact with the ability to work to all fields. Worked out defensively in the infield, shows good routes to the ball with solid fundamental footwork, fields cleanly out front and shows good accuracy across the diamond, clocked up to 64 MPH. Excellent student.
