Ben Willcoxon is a 2020 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Sevierville, TN who attends Sevier County. Medium and athletic frame, stocky build with strength present. Ran a 7.05 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves to the ball well fielding out in front with mostly soft hands, rounds off the baseball well with good overall actions and clean footwork, showed the ability to throw from multiple arm angles, plenty of arm strength, topped out at 87 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, wide base with a high hand set and high back elbow to start, toe tap trigger into swing, downhill plane that is direct to the baseball, patient approach with a good eye showing up in game, short and quick to the ball, flashed some hard contact up the middle and worked to all fields during round. Great student. Named to 2018 Sunshine Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
