2019 PG Underclass All American Games
Tommy Hawke is a 2021 MIF/UT with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Oak Island, NC who attends Reagan. Smaller young build. 6.85 runner at the PG Junior National Showcase, speed plays up in the games, 4.12 home to first from the right side, very aggressive on the bases and will steal bases with very good jumps. Left handed hitter, exaggerated open stance with a deep barred hand load, can do things to short his swing but handled the barrel well and made consistent barrel contact in games, moves the ball around the field with a high contact approach. Second base arm strength in the middle infield, release tends to get longer and slower on deep throws but is quick and compact on shorter throws, makes accurate throws with good lower half balance. Good student, verbal commitment to Wake Forest.
