Branden Knorr is a 2016 RHP/3B, 1B with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Ann Arbor, MI who attends Pioneer. Large frame with present strength and projection. Works exclusively from the stretch with a 3/4 arm slot. Good arm speed on fastball and has solid arm side life ranging from 82-86 mph, topping at 86 mph. Can sink fastball when staying on plane and downhill. Changeup had a good differental with fading action down in the zone with slower arm speed, topping at 76 mph. Curveball shows power depth with 11/5-10/4 shape and good snap. Showed varying speeds and depth with curveball, topped at 75 mph. Potential weapon pitch. Has repeatable mechanics with a tendecy to elevate pitches when rushed. Mixes all three pitches well. Pitching upside. Even stance and stride at the plate. Generates bat speed with a rotational back half. Has some strength to swing when extended at on time. Higher ceiling as pitcher.
