Connor Scott is a 2018 OF/LHP with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Plant HS. Outstanding athletic build, long and lean with some present strength and plenty of room for more. Left handed hitter, deep hand load, loose and fast hands, big raw bat speed, lots of lift in his swing and can hit it a long way, ball flies off the barrel, low effort fluid swing, could be scary with 20 pounds of additional muscle behind it. Still developing footwork to show true arm strength in the outfield. Didn't run sixty but 4.08 home to first from the left side. Also pitches, simple delivery mechanics with a loose arm, limited lower half use, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 92 mph, slider shows some tightness and bite. Could develop into a top level pitching prospect if he worked at it but his future is in the batter's box. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Florida. Selected for the 2017 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
