Dylan DeGiovanni is a 2018 RHP/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Massapequa, NY who attends Massapequa HS. Medium frame with some present physicality on the build. Recorded a 4.02 30-yard dash. Primary pitcher with a full arm action through the back and throws from a three-quarter arm slot. Lands online and sound frame for a pitcher with a deliberate tempo. Primarily throws his fastball and works his secondaries off the pitch. The fastball has short cut to it that he showed consistently during the outing. Mixed in a curveball with 12/6 shape. Solid arm strength from the outfield with arm quickness. Ball comes out well and showed quickness and athleticism. Showed some bat speed and hand quickness at the plate. Wide base and created backspin by contacting the top half of the baseball. Repeats his swing well with a high hand set and high back elbow. Good student.
