Drew DeMasi is a 2019 C/RHP, 1B, 3B, OF with a 5-10 220 lb. frame from Lilburn, GA who attends Parkview. Large and sturdy frame. Ran a 7.58 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, sets up with a higher crouched position, takes arm back from a clean transfer to a compact arm action, could utilize lower half more into his release and gain additional ground into throws for added arm strength, solid arm strength currently but could get more with minor refinement to mechanics, 1.95 second best pop time. Also took reps in the infield, sits back on the baseball, fields the baseball cleanly, showed some mobility and the ability to throw from multiple arm angles, solid arm strength topping out at 84 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, balanced and consistent swing flashing quickness to his hands, level plane meeting the baseball on a line, works to all fields with some impact strength when squared, looking to drive the ball with intent.
