Garrett McMillan is a 2019 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-3 225 lb. frame from Tuscaloosa, AL who attends Hillcrest HS. Recorded a 7.68 second 60-yard dash time. Physical build with lots of well-proportioned present strength. Primary righthanded pitcher with a full arm stroke up to a higher three-quarters ram slot. Arm works well and he utilizes a side step into a leg lift at the belt. Fastball has some plane and topped out at 85 mph. Likes to work quickly and gets out over his front leg with an online delivery and good direction. Curveball showed late bite with 12/6 shape. Secondary infielder who bends at the waist and funnels close to the body. Arm strength played well from the position and releases from over the top. Lefthanded hitter with an uphill swing plane and has bat speed. High exit velocity, recorded up to 95 mph, Deeper hand load and squares the ball up consistently. Good student.
