Taylor Pridgen is a 2018 1B/LHP with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Eustis, FL who attends Eustis. Large, athletic frame with long limbs and present strength with room to continue to fill out. Ran a 7.90 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, shows sound footwork around the bag, smooth defensive skills and coordination for age, picks well in dirt, shows strength across the diamond. Fluid arm action from the outfield, gets under throws at times, accuracy on throws, arm strength will continue to develop. Also pitched, shows a smooth, repeatable delivery with a low three-quarter release. Opens front side early and gets across body at release, causing arm side run on fastball that topped at 77 mph. Nice feel for a late, sweeping curveball with depth at 66 mph. Left-handed hitter, starts with a low hand set and a bent lower half. Short and quick path to the ball with natural lift at contact. Quick hands with a high finish, shows strength coming off the barrel and projects for more in the future.
