Jacob Evangelista is a 2020 SS/2B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Klein Collins. Projectable athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. 7.02 runner, very light on his feet on defense, moves well with range to both sides, gets rid of the ball quickly with some arm strength, also played the outfield and looked good out there too. Right handed hitter, gets coiled well and fires his hips hard to help create bat speed, swings hard and creates some bat speed, showed good plate discipline and battled well in games, showed some pop to right centerfield when he got his pitch. Good all around player who will keep improving with additional strength.
