Jeremy Houston is a 2016 SS/2B with a 5-7 166 lb. frame from Dolton, IL who attends Mt Carmel HS. Shorter compact build, good present strength. 6.85 runner, second base build and actions, quick first step on defense, has a quick transfer and release, makes accurate throws from a compact arm stroke, good footwork through the ball. Right handed hitter, open spread stance, strides closed to contact, rotational hands driven swing, has some bat speed and feel for the barrel, solid line drive contact. Good student, verbal commitment to Indiana.
