Jacob Adams is a 2014 3B/1B, SS with a 6-2 225 lb. frame from Brandon, SD who attends Brandon Valley. Adams has a large frame with a thick build. Defensively he has corner infield actions with developing footwork. He has developing actions and throws across his body. Adams has arm strength up to 81 MPH and fields the ball out front. At the plate, Adams starts with an open stance with a high hand set. He has some bat speed and showed some power to the pull side. Adams swings around the ball and has a power pull approach. He gets good extension at contact and he has more power potential. Adams has some raw hitting tools with a chance to really improve his hitting skills at the next level.
